**Ski Lodge – Managers** (Couple preferred)

**Your Opportunity**
_Snow Country Ski Club_ operates a private ski lodge for its members located
at Smiggin Holes in the Snowy Mountains, within the Perisher Ski Resort of
NSW. The Lodge accommodates up to 20 guests including children down to age 4.
This idyllic location offers all the benefits of living in a ski resort with
ski-in/ski-out access to snow sports at Australia’s largest and number 1 ski
resort.
We operate the lodge during the ski season between early June and early
October. We are offering a 4-month contract with an attractive package for the
2021 season, with the chance to renew for future seasons.
**The Role**
We are looking for a hands-on couple to manage the lodge, who will make our
members and guests feel welcome, maintain the lodge cleanliness, facilitate
continued COVID-safe operation (if required), order food and prepare 3 meals
per day, 7 days per week.
A 7-day menu is expected for breakfast and the three-course evening meal, with
lunches generally soup/quiche and sandwiches. You will be catering for 20
guests each day, when fully booked. On rare occasions, you may be expected to
cater for a larger group (e.g. our Club race day).
Daily duties include cleaning the two guest bathrooms and vacuuming of common
areas. The kitchen must be always kept clean and tidy. Bed linen is to be sent
to an offsite commercial laundry and new linen placed in rooms for new guests
to make their own beds.
Good time management will allow plenty of time to ski, snowboard and enjoy the
beauty of the Snowy Mountains.
**Skills and Experience**
* Food preparation (planning meals, ordering supplies etc), cooking skills and experience in managing a catering budget.
* Hospitality industry experience
* A _Food Safety Supervisor_ (FSS) Certificate valid for the contractual period
* A current _Working With Children_ check
* A friendly and flexible approach when engaging with our members/guests.
* Good time management skills
* The ability to work unsupervised
* Experience in managing a ski lodge is desirable, but not mandatory.
**Salary Package**
This is a seasonal contracted position beginning **early June 2021 and ending
early October 2021.**
An attractive salary package including the provision of two season ski passes
and a parking space in the Kosciusko National Park is available for the right
candidate.
The package includes on-site private studio apartment accommodation within the
lodge including a private bathroom. All meals are included.
