Who we are
We are a Grain and Sheep Farming business growing predominantly Wheat, Barley,
Canola and Merino Sheep. Located in the Great Southern area in Woodanilling,
25min from the regional hub Katanning.
We are seeking an experienced team orientated Agricultural Mechanic to work in
our well-equipped workshop located on our family farm.
Responsible for a fleet of agricultural equipment and trucks, this role
requires someone with not only fantastic mechanical skills, but someone who is
also organised and a good communicator
The ideal candidate is competent in the maintenance and repair of diesel
engines, tractors, trucks, farm machinery and related implements.?You will be
responsible for carrying out all aspects of plant and machinery maintenance,
both scheduled and unscheduled, including maintaining equipment to
manufacturer specifications and keep accurate records. Responsibilities will
include overseeing use of consumables, fabrication, construction and repair
work for machinery and infrastructures.

Tasks & responsibilities
• To implement management decisions in the most efficient and safest possible
manner.
• To be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs of all tractors,
vehicles, harvesters, plant and equipment and to liaise with third party

ability to work independently and in the same time with operational staff in a

* Perform various tractor operations including spraying, slashing, hedging, under-vine weeding and cultivation
* Apply chemicals in a safe manner

* Assist in hand picking operations
* Operate and repair the irrigation system
* Construct/Repair trellis posts and wires as required
* Responsible for site and equipment maintenance in the winery and vineyard
* Barrel work, tank cleaning, filtration, sparging and additions
* Maintain and repair farm buildings, fences etc.
* Assist when required in the cellar door

* Genuine interest in Horticulture wine industry

A full-time position is on offer at Parap Veterinary Hospital, a high quality,

The position includes various roles on a banana farm from harvesting bunches,
desuckering, stringing and bell injecting. The applicant may also be required

* Able to operate kitchen equipment.
* Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area.
* Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by the recipe and to specification.
* Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
* Prepare all menu items by strictly following recipes and yield guide.
* Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
* Slices, grind and cooks’ meats and vegetables using a full range of cooking methods.
* Wash and peel fresh fruits, vegetables and are able to weigh, measure and mix ingredients on correct proportions.
* Set-up the station with par stocks of menu items, and prepare the dishes designated for that station.
* Checks supplies and prep lists and ensures all items are prepped in a timely fashion.
* Replenishes service lines as needed and restocks and prepares the workstation for the next shift.
* Ensures that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels.
* Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
* Serve food in proper portions on to correct serving vessels and plates.
* Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives and other equipment.
* Maintain correct portion size and quality of the food.
* Minimise waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.
* Assists in providing on the job training & development of new cooks.

To be eligible for this role:

* Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years’ experience
* Ability to work in a team environment
